Enhancing Campus Communication with LED Displays

The Central Academy of Drama, is one of China’s premier theater institutions, they were looking for a way to enhance its on-campus communication and engagement. 

To meet the Academy’s growing demand for sharing real-time event information and showcasing cultural productions, they turned to INFiLED for a straightforward digital solution that combined clarity and engagement.

Two high-definition LED screens from our DB Series and WP Series were installed in key locations, delivering vibrant, clear visuals and elevating the campus atmosphere for both students and staff.

The Story of the Central Academy of Drama

Situated in the Changping district of Beijing, the Central Academy of Drama holds the distinction of being China’s first and foremost institution dedicated to drama and stage arts.

As a prominent center for nurturing creative talent, the Academy focuses heavily on both education and fostering cultural activities.

The Challenge

The Academy needed a way to efficiently share information across its expansive campus. From announcing performances to displaying campus events and other critical updates, the existing communication tools weren’t sufficient.

They sought a reliable and high-visibility solution that would also enhance the aesthetic of their learning spaces, blending seamlessly into the environment.

How INFiLED Responded

INFiLED provided two LED solutions tailored to the Academy’s specific needs: DB Series and WP Series.

In the main teaching building, a 17.5m² screen from the DB Series was installed in the lobby, offering clear visuals with a 2.6mm pixel pitch and a high contrast ratio of 5000:1. Its vibrant colors and high-definition clarity significantly improved the Academy’s ability to present promotional content.

Near the premix room, a WP Series screen was installed. The screens were designed with a slim 37mm profile and a lightweight build (just 4.9kg per cabinet), making them easy to install and aesthetically enhancing the environment. 

With a refresh rate of 3840Hz and 1080p resolution, the displays provide smooth visuals, ensuring key information is communicated effectively.
