China’s film and television industry is accelerating, with virtual production (VP) quickly becoming a fast, cost-effective and super-flexible part of the creative process. But while the tech is surging forward, skilled talent is in critically short supply.
Educators are under pressure to equip their students with the right tools, skills and experience to get the best out of XR/VP evolution, and to do it in a real-world, industry-aligned environment.
The Challenge: Big on Tech, Short on Skills
Bridging the gap between traditional education and this new digital production landscape requires more than just the right kit. Universities needs a comprehensive approach that includes:
- The right tech: industry-grade production quality, and fully-integrated VP environments.
- Customized curricula, course materials and content libraries.
- Cross-disciplinary awareness and readiness.
And all of this has to work in the real world of teaching — where systems must be reliable, flexible, and easy to maintain.
The Solution: What We’re Providing
We’re working with pioneers like Beijing YUAN Mate, Chuangyi Technology Culture and Canon (China) to deliver XR system solutions specifically for education. Together, we’re building AI+XR+IP-based full-chain practical training platforms – not just the kit, but developing workshops, course materials, and content libraries, too.
Our goal is to enable universities to build the next generation of versatile, digital-native talents who meet the evolving demands of the industry.
Recently, we were proud to take part in the 8th Audiovisual Practice Teaching Innovation Seminar, held at Xingguang Island, Qingdao. We joined over 300 experts and representatives from universities, industry organizations, and enterprises across China to discuss the future of audiovisual education in the era of artificial intelligence.
We were honored to be invited to share the latest VP technological advancements and applications.
